Dealing with Goosehead was so physically painful, so many policy errors, I switched away from them as soon as I could for all my rental properties. They accidentally cancelled my entire years policy on one of the properties and then sent me a bill saying they would send me to collections if I didn't pay it.... I NEVER CANCELLED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE!! The customer service is terrible. You never speak to the same person twice. It takes hours, sometimes days to get someone on the phone. I would NOT recommend. I spent more money in lost hours and time than I actually paid for the policies.

I also found out that they charge more for policies that you can get the same coverage for elsewhere. I am saving so much money by switching to another broker who does not charge additional fees and found me the same coverage with a more reputable insurance company for less money! I am saving a ton!!! Goosehead's solution to helping with a claim escalation ended in very little response and a denied claim that held up the closing of my home sale. Could not have been a worse outcome. I have never been treated so poorly by an insurance or broker EVER!
