I loved the quote I received, way cheaper than the other policy I had with Allstate. But when I went to sign up, the insurance rep said there was a $279 broker fee to set up the policy. That made it where there was no savings versus my current plan. But she knocked off $50 to help there be a savings for me. I had referred my neighbor the week before I signed my new policy and she didn’t have a broker fee charged to her. The lady said it was new but complete bs that a week prior there was no charge than bam hit with it and not told up front about it either. I will not refer anyone else but I’ll be sure to tell them who not to use because those fees are ridiculously high. My husband said the most he’s paid fee wise was $35.
