About Goosehead

Mr. Miller has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer for Goosehead since July 2024, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer since 2022. In addition, Mr. Miller has served on the board since March 2018. For the prior 15 years, he worked for some of the largest private equity firms in the world helping drive large scale financial and operational transformations. Mr. Miller was the Chief Financial Officer of Pluralsight, Finastra, Marketo, and Active Networks (all Vista Equity Partners portfolio companies at the time). He also served as the CFO of Sabre, and L.H.P. Hospital Group. At Sabre, he held multiple operating and finance positions and was instrumental in the company’s initial IPO and its subsequent $5 billion privatization transaction. Early in his career, Mr. Miller worked for Ernst & Young. Mr. Miller has an accounting degree from Texas Tech University and an MBA in Finance from Rice University. He is also a licensed CPA in Texas.

Mr. Jones joined Goosehead in 2016 as Controller and was promoted to Vice President – Finance in 2020, Chief Financial Officer in 2022 and added Chief Operating Officer to his title in 2025. He leads both our financial strategy and day-to-day operations. In 2018 he played a central role in the company’s highly successful initial public offering. Prior to joining Goosehead, Mr. Jones worked in Ernst & Young’s audit practice, primarily focused on financial services companies. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in accounting and an M.S. in finance and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. O’Connor joined Goosehead Insurance in 2022 as General Counsel and, in that role, is responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal operations. Prior to joining Goosehead, he spent fifteen years in private practice, including more than a decade with international law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP. He most recently served as general counsel for an Austin based real estate development company. Notably, while in private practice, Mr. O’Connor served as outside counsel for Goosehead and has worked as an advisor to the company since 2019. He holds an undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University, a master’s degree from Pepperdine University and received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University, where he served as President of the SMU Law Review Association.

Angie Kervin serves as Chief Human Resources Officer at Goosehead Insurance, bringing over two decades of HR leadership experience. Prior to joining Goosehead, Ms. Kervin held progressive HR leadership roles, including Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Vestis, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President of Human Resources at Aramark Uniform Services. During her time in the multi-unit retail sector, she led HR programs across large, distributed workforces at companies such as Kohl’s, Sports Authority, Party City and Footaction USA. Ms. Kervin earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas.

Mr. Ricketts joined Goosehead in 2022 as Executive Vice President, Technology, where he spearheads all technology initiatives. With a strong emphasis on innovation and client-centric strategies, his teams are focused on strategic product investments and processes, ensuring the integrity and security of IT infrastructure, and driving digital transformation across the organization. He brings to Goosehead over 25 years of experience, previously serving as the Chief Product and Development Officer for Sabre Hospitality Solutions where he oversaw product management, product development, solution engineering and platform operations. He also held executive positions at HMS Holdings, Unum Group, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Kaiser Permanente.

Charl Lombard serves as Goosehead's Chief Client Experience Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience in leading large-scale business and digital transformations. Since joining Goosehead in 2024, Charl has been instrumental in driving innovation and enhancing organizational success by leading the company’s Enterprise Transformation and Service functions. His impressive career spans leadership roles at McKinsey & Company, PwC, and executive positions in both public and private corporations, including Sabre Hospitality Solutions and Info-Tech Research Group. Charl holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and a BA from the University of Pretoria, and his expertise in at-scale transformation and commitment to client excellence are key to advancing Goosehead's mission to revolutionize the insurance industry.

Niki Stone-Johnson is Vice President of Partner Platforms at Goosehead Insurance, where she brings more than 25 years of experience across product management, strategy, and technology leadership. Since joining Goosehead in December 2025, Niki has been focused on shaping the next evolution of the Digital Agent platform—leading its onboarding, integration, and day-to-day adoption across the Partner ecosystem. She is passionate about building platforms that don’t just launch, but truly work in the real world by fitting naturally into partner systems, processes, and daily workflows. Throughout her career, Niki has led end-to-end product development, partner onboarding, and large-scale platform implementations. Prior to Goosehead, she served as Chief Product Officer at Otelier, where she launched new B2B products, and built scalable partner management programs. Earlier in her career, Niki spent 15 years at Sabre in strategy and finance roles, supporting product launches, enterprise product practices, and major commercial initiatives. Niki holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BBA in Economics from St. Edward’s University.

Dericka Marshall-Dillon joined Goosehead in 2013 and has demonstrated exceptional growth within the company. Starting as a Licensed Service Agent, she has successfully progressed through various roles, Accounting Lead - 2017, Accounting Manager – 2019, Manager of Human Resources - 2021, Director of Human Resources – 2023, Vice President of HR Operations - 2025. In her current role, she oversees key HR functions, including HRIS technology, onboarding, employee engagement, benefits, leaves, and employee relations. Dericka holds a BS in Accounting and Business Management and an MS in Criminal Justice from Grambling State University.

Danny Keene is the Vice President of Franchise Operations at Goosehead Insurance. Mr. Keene joined Goosehead in 2024 as a leader in the Finance department, where he played a pivotal role in navigating complex business decisions and driving strategic growth initiatives. He brings a unique blend of consulting expertise and operational excellence to his role, now overseeing the Agency Management team and supporting Agency Owners across the franchise network. Mr. Keene is focused on delivering operational rigor, scalable tools, and high-impact support to help build a thriving, high-growth franchise community. Mr. Keene holds a degree in Economics from Colorado College and an M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business.

Al Loges serves as Vice President of Corporate Sales at Goosehead Insurance, where he leads the development and execution of the company’s Corporate Sales strategy, including market analysis and expansion planning. Since joining Goosehead in November 2025, Al has been focused on driving market expansion, strengthening sales productivity, and supporting high-quality growth through disciplined, scalable sales systems. Al brings nearly 25 years of sales leadership experience across the telecommunications and technology/software industries, where he built and led high-performing hunter sales organizations in fast-paced, performance-driven environments. His career includes leading strategic customer and global sales teams, overseeing complex growth initiatives, and developing sales leaders at both high-growth companies and large public organizations, including Adobe and SAP. Al holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Applied Sciences from the University of Denver. While at Michigan, he played goalie for the men’s ice hockey team and remains an avid hockey player and coach.

Ms. Julia Jordan joined Goosehead Insurance in 2010 as an Account Executive and has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success. Over her 15-year tenure, she has been an instrumental leader in expanding Goosehead's corporate teams and establishing the Agency Staffing Program. Currently serving as the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Ms. Jordan also leads all university recruitment efforts, strategically positioning Goosehead as a premier career choice for college graduates nationwide. Before transitioning to her current role, she contributed significantly to the early development and marketing of the Goosehead brand, showcasing her versatility and commitment to the organization’s vision. Ms. Jordan is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University’s business school, where she earned a degree in Marketing.

Mr. Lauck joined Goosehead in 2023 as Vice President of Partnerships. His role includes business development and management of strategic business partnerships designed to expand Goosehead’s customer acquisition and presence in the market. Mr. Lauck began his career in the financial services industry and brings more than 14 years of experience to Goosehead. In his career, he has managed business units, business development, marketing acquisitions, and partnerships at various organizations, including Avant Credit, Goldman Sachs, QuinStreet, Elevate Credit, NetSpend, and Gerson Lehrman Group. Mr. Lauck obtained his BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.

Mr. Jacobs joined Goosehead Insurance in 2024 as the Vice President of Revenue Operations, bringing significant experience with him from both direct sales leadership and operational excellence.  Dan has spent the last 17 years focusing on the Revenue Operations space for many software companies after starting his career in Fortune 500 as a sales leader.  After many successful transformations for various software companies held by private equity, such as Active Network, Marketo, Finastra, Xactly, and most recently Avalara, Dan was excited for the opportunity to bring those skills to the insurance industry with Goosehead to help scale efficiently and effectively in the future.  Dan holds a B.A. in Information Systems and Information Management from Purdue University.

Mr. Farrell joined Goosehead Insurance in 2020 as Vice President, Capital Markets. He is responsible for leading the company’s Investor Relations and Public Relations efforts. Dan has over 19 years of experience in the insurance sector. Prior to joining Goosehead, he was Head of Investor Relations for Marsh & McLennan Companies and Head of Strategy for Mercer. Dan spent much of his career as sell-side equity analyst covering the insurance sector for 16 years. He graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in Economics.

Mr. Olsen is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our agent development programs for both new and tenured agents in the franchise and corporate channels. As Goosehead’s most tenured sales agent, beginning in 2005, Mr. Olsen spent 15 years developing best practices in organization, time management, and sales process, leading him to create the largest book of organically grown business of any agent in the organization, and helping Goosehead stay on the cutting edge of marketing and sales process best practices. Mr. Olsen attended Brigham Young University and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Marketing.

Matt Hunt is a Vice President at Goosehead Insurance. Mr. Hunt joined Goosehead in 2010 as an Account Executive and quickly distinguished himself as a top-performing sales leader. Over his tenure, he has been instrumental in launching and scaling Goosehead’s corporate offices in Houston, Austin, and Chicago. Mr. Hunt has also led the Franchise Management team, giving him deep insight into Agency Owner recruitment and new market expansion. In his current role, Mr. Hunt is responsible for corporate office expansion and operational execution, leading the planning, launch, and ramp of new locations to drive strong early productivity and long-term success. He partners closely with Sales Directors and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective onboarding, and consistent execution, while providing regular performance reporting and insights to support strategic growth. Mr. Hunt holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University.

Alex Deshowitz is Vice President, Technology at Goosehead Insurance and leads Goosehead's AI and advanced analytics strategy. He is responsible for building production-grade machine learning systems and driving the technology modernization and change management required to embed AI into core business workflows. Alex brings more than 15 years of experience in operations research and applied AI. He began his career at Southwest Airlines, building real-time optimization and data science solutions across network planning, revenue management, and operational performance, and helping establish the company’s first commercial data science team. He later spent six years at McKinsey & Company leading AI-driven transformations across industries, and most recently served as Senior Director of AI Products at Viaduct AI through its acquisition by Sumitomo Rubber Industries. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Machine Learning from SMU and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a focus on econometric modeling and financial engineering.

Brim Basom is Vice President of Enterprise Solutions, Data, and AI at Goosehead Insurance, where he leads the company’s enterprise technology strategy with a focus on digital transformation, scalable systems modernization, innovation in data and artificial intelligence. Since joining Goosehead in 2022, Brim has spearheaded the transformation of the company’s technology stack, delivering patent backed platforms and a robust enterprise grade data infrastructure that drives agility, efficiencies, and sustained growth. With over 20 years of experience spanning startups to Fortune 500 companies, Brim has built and led high performing technology teams across industries including financial services, healthcare, insurance, and non-profit. His core expertise lies in enterprise software development, AI/ML implementation, product innovation and data strategy. A recognized thought leader, Brim is a multiple time CIO of the Year award finalist and has been acknowledged by Forbes for his impactful technology leadership. He holds a degree in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University and is a driving force in aligning technology with strategic business outcomes.

Josh Caplin is the Vice President of Finance at Goosehead Insurance, with responsibility for accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, procurement, and financial systems. Mr. Caplin joined Goosehead in 2023 as Assistant Controller and was promoted to Controller in 2024 before assuming his current role. He has played a key role in strengthening financial rigor, modernizing finance and accounting processes, and enhancing the quality and timeliness of financial information used in business decisions. Prior to joining Goosehead, Mr. Caplin held senior accounting leadership roles at GameStop, Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Caplin worked in internal audit at Verizon Communications and began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Caplin graduated from Brigham Young University with B.S. in Accounting and Master of Accountancy degrees and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jackie May is the Vice President of Service Delivery at Goosehead Insurance. She joined Goosehead in 2017, after graduating from the University of Arkansas Sam Walton College of Business, as a Licensed Service Agent. Since then, she advanced through multiple leadership roles, contributing to the successful scaling of the Service organization more than sixfold while maintaining operational performance and customer experience. She has led critical service infrastructure and operating model initiatives, including enterprise telephony implementations and the launch of strategic partnerships such as Alorica. Since 2025, she has partnered with cross-functional leaders to drive a multi-year operational transformation focused on process rigor, workforce scalability, and technology enablement to support Goosehead’s continued growth.

Mr. Jones is Goosehead’s Executive Chairman. He is co-founder of the company and served as Chief Executive Officer from inception in 2003 until July 2024. Under his leadership, Goosehead grew to become one of the largest and fastest-growing personal lines insurance brokers in the country. He has also served as CEO of N5B Capital, an alternative asset investment firm, since 2022. Prior to joining Goosehead, he was a Senior Partner and Director of Bain & Company, the global management consulting firm. Earlier in his career, he worked in the audit and mergers-and-acquisitions practice groups for Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Robyn Jones is the co-founder of Goosehead and has served as a Director and Vice Chairman of the board of directors since March 2018. While she has retired from active management roles, she continues to serve on our board. She was selected to our board of directors because of her role in founding the company, the Jones family’s position as our largest shareholder, and her unique role in establishing and maintaining our company culture. Ms. Jones was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Montana State University in recognition of her support of the university in addressing Montana’s healthcare challenges.

Mr. Lane has served on our board since March 2018. He previously spent 12 years at Bain & Company, where he was a Partner and led the Dallas and Mexico City offices as well as the oil and gas practice. Mr. Lane was an Operating Partner with TPG Global and CEO of Axip Energy Services. Mr. Lane has served on the boards of Petro Harvester, Taylor Morrison Homes and FleetPride and has been a senior advisor to Altamont Capital Partners. Mr. Lane holds a BS in physics from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom and an MBA from the Wharton School. Mr. Lane was selected to our board of directors because he brings extensive experience in business operations, finance and corporate governance.

James “Rusty” Reid has served on our board since March 2018. He has worked at Ramey, King, & Minnis Insurance Agency, American General Fire & Casualty Company, and at Higginbotham Insurance Agency, Inc. as Chairman, CEO and President. Under his leadership, Higginbotham has become a leading Texas independent commercial insurance broker. Mr. Reid is a member of Independent Insurance Agents of Texas and the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers. He serves as Chairman of the Finance and Facilities Committee and on the Board of Regents of the University of North Texas System. Mr. Reid holds a BS in Business Administration/Insurance from the University of North Texas and is a Certified Insurance Counselor.

Waded Cruzado is President of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU), the nation’s oldest higher education association dedicated to strengthening and advancing public and land-grant universities across North America. She assumed the role in July 2025 following her retirement as President of Montana State University, where she served from 2010 to 2025 and oversaw record enrollment and growth. At APLU, she is focused on ensuring member institutions are equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of today while continuing to expand educational access, drive research innovation, and foster community engagement. A nationally recognized higher education leader, she was named the 2011 Michael P. Malone Educator of the Year, appointed by President Barack Obama to the Board for International Food and Agricultural Development (2012–2020), and served on Montana’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Task Force. She has also contributed to numerous educational and civic boards, including PayneWest Insurance prior to its 2021 acquisition by Marsh & McLennan Agency. A first-generation college graduate, Cruzado earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico and her master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Mr. Goldberg was elected to our Board on February 17, 2026.  He previously was a senior partner of Davis Polk, a leading US and international law firm, for over 28 years and a leader of its Board advisory practice.

Mr. Goldberg was recognized by Forbes as one of America's Top Lawyers in 2025, and by American Lawyer as "Dealmaker of the Year” for 2024.  He has been a lead advisor to many industry-leading corporations around the world on their most challenging Board and corporate matters for many years. Since 2020, Mr. Goldberg has been a Special Adviser to Hope Community Services, a New York-based community services organization feeding and supporting 1000s of underprivileged people.

Mr. Goldberg holds a B.Bus.Sci LLB degree (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and an LLM (First Class honors) from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. In his spare time, Louis is an Ironman triathlete.  

Mr. Goldberg was selected to our board of directors because he brings extensive experience in understanding business transactions and markets, public company disclosure and other requirements, and corporate governance.

Mr. Wade has over 25 years of experience as a senior partner and consultant at Bain & Company, specializing in leveraging emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to drive innovation and growth. Throughout his career, he has worked with corporations and private equity firms to optimize performance through digital transformations and agile operating models. Mr. Wade holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and Siebel Scholar, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accountancy from Brigham Young University. Mr. Wade was selected to our board of directors because he brings deep expertise in technology-driven strategies and transformational growth.
