Particularly, he spent a lot of time helping us understand the coverage options for our roof, which will be our biggest home expense in the next few years. He clearly laid out a short-term vs long-term savings options allowing us to either save $500 a year (and getting little less money when the roof has to be replaced) vs saving a little each year but getting more roof coverage. That allowed my wife and I to make the best financial choice for our family.
