About Jennifer
I'm Jennifer Dixon, your local OBX Goosehead Insurance Agency Owner. I'm a native of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, and I've been in the insurance industry since 2015. I started as a captive agent but living in an area known for hard-to-place risks, I decided to open an independent agency in 2020. I was determined to provide clients with better choices regarding broader insurance coverage. Since that time, I have grown to provide coverage to all of NC and VA with hopes to expand to more states in the future. I'm honored to have the opportunity to help consumers better understand the insurance industry which empowers them to make informed choices regarding their largest assets.

I did my own independent research and shopping for an insurance company that would offer decent coverage for a fair price. I compared six different companies, including the one I have my auto insurance through, and all of them required that I make a sacrifice on my policy. Either I would get great coverage but my premium was through the roof or I had outrageous deductibles and low dwelling coverage and my premium would stay manageable. Jennifer at Goosehead conducted a very expansive search and really listened to our needs. She found exactly what we needed, expedited our policy, and helped us meet our timelines for getting our new home. Fantastic.
