How does the MBA program work?

You’ll complete 4 weeks of in-person training at Goosehead HQ as a W-2 employee with each training class offered monthly. After graduation, you’ll launch your own franchise, backed by our tech, training, and support infrastructure.

Does Goosehead help me get licensed?

Yes. We help guide you through the licensing process before you begin training. Most people complete licensing within 2–3 weeks, and our Onboarding team will support you throughout.

What support do I get once I launch my business?

You’ll receive continued business coaching, marketing tools, client service support, and access to a network of Goosehead agents. You’re independent, but never alone.

Will I be paired with a mentor or coach?

You will be paired with an agency manager who will mentor you, guiding you through the ins and outs of insurance and your market.

Do I need to complete the training before launching?

You must complete the 4-week training program in Dallas, Texas, and successfully finish a capstone project before you can begin the launch process.

What does the MBA training program include?

During the 4-week training, you'll master insurance essentials, develop a business plan, and conclude with a capstone presentation to showcase your readiness.

What are the first steps after signing my franchise agreement?

After completing training and signing the Franchise Agreement, you’ll participate in a two-week new agent training program designed to prepare all franchise owners for a successful launch!
